Help with Plantar fasciitis

In this post I will be talking to you about plantar fasciitis, it maybe a boring subject but if you have plantar fasciiits it isn't a laughing matter and you just want to get back to your normal life which can be quite hard because the plantar fascia that makes up the arches of your feet can take a while to actually heal and not only that if you go out running or whatever before you are actually ready and your arches have fully healed you may find yourself back to square one!

The main symptom of PF has to be the pain it causes and has meant countless athletes and sports people unable to do what they love! Another sign of PF are heel spurs too.

Plantar fasciiits does effect a lot of people, in fact 10% of the population at least once will get it! It used to be a condition that was brought on by peoples busy lifestyles always up on their feet but now we are seeing a shift from sufferers who are busy on their feet for long periods to those who are sedate and have weak arches because they do not exercise so when they do walk places there arches and Achilles tendon is tight and does not support their weight if you add in the factor of obesity the chances of plantar fasciiits rises even more as the weakened arches have even more weight to deal with and simply cannot. Plantar fasciiits still effects many athletes as much as ever, though more and more people are learning how to properly warm up and stretch the feet and achilles tendon before exercise which has helped ease the situation. It is still fairly common in runners however despite all of this but things like that of exercising correctly, running with the right technique and wearing good footwear that fit accordingly with a pair of arch support insoles inside is all one really needs to do.

How to treat/help Plantar fasciitis?

Keeping on your feet whilst plantar fasciits recovers is a good diea... may sounds odd at first.. shouldnt you be resting them? You would think but resting can prolong the recovery as the liquid in your feet stays and little blood flows into the feet... You can do light stretching exercises to help with blood flow and encourage healing of the plantar fascia tissue.. also if you are walkign places whilst you have PF make sure you give our feet some extra support and wear orthtoic insoles and dont forget to make sure that they have shock aborption added to them to stop further damage to the feet.

Well I hope this helps......a bit at least, if not try indiadaily as they have a really good guide on this condition!
